Canadian retail sales fell 0.1 per cent to $66.7 billion in February. Excluding volatile items, sales were flat on a month-over-month basis. In volume terms, adjusted for rising prices, retail sales fell 0.3 per cent in February. After falling more than 2 per cent in January, retail sales in BC were up 1.2 per cent in February and were up 2.6 per cent from the same time last year.
